job insight.
Job insight. Okay, ytd's my first nite shift. Two words: Extremely Exhausting. Apart from the pace, (which is like double of lunch) the whole place was chaotic!! People were streaming in and out; from the bar to the yard, from post 1 to post 2. And by the time the drinks are out, they were simply out of sight. Why cant they just stay put? Argh. screwed-up. Oh.. and I was made to check the customer's IC! How niceee. The whole group was obviously 18 and above la!! But Keav just love to make life difficult for me. Thanks ar!! IN THE END... guess what?!! Customer1: Haha sure.. (took out army pass/IC) ME: Ok thanks. Sorry about that. Customer2: Its ok. We understand. Customer1: Btw how old are u? It was that embarrassing. However.. it's the best day of work though. Hmmm.. Firstly, Chef Thomas made me bacon butty for lunch, And Roast Pork loin with n addition of Yorkshire pudding (just for me!) =) simply love the thing u do, yet i will nv know the reason why. why- the lovely things you do. Then again, I hate Yorkshire pudding. Its nice, but the thought of it makes me sick. Yorkshire pudding = Fats/oil of the cow. *pukes* Irony. Next, Shah made "ai xing milo" for me Wahaha... *meltx* Oh btw, Shah's the super cute bartender. i had a crush on you. And last but not least, Sophia's the sweetest gurl in town! She's always helping in the dark, making sure my screw-ups are minimum. And, in spite of the busy crowd, she took time to make a napkin rose just to make me feel better after i got a scolding from Jo. THANKS, MUCH APPRECIATED. sense of satisfaction.
sense of satisfaction. charmaine was tryin real hard to solve her maths multiplication sums, and took an extremely long time to finish her classwork today. she kept going back to t'cher anne for explanations, yet was still lost in her work. Eventually, decided to take over. To my surprise, she understood me! On top of that, she finished it in less den 5 minutes without makin a single mistake!!! utterly impressed. primary1 doing primary3's work. isnt it amazing how far one's mind can stretch @ the age of 7? maybe even younger? people work to the best of their ability. Oh and before i forget... HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUTH!

productive day.
productive day. Three "physical skills" i picked up today. *pro* ways of... 1) holdin plates 2) balancing 3 glasses with a palm 3) pint holding damn proud of myself =) *happy* took the whole freakin afternoon just to master them! and.. realised having small hands is simply just a lousy excuse. fingers all stretched. Three "pyschological skills" i avouched after today. 1) When u believe u can, u can. 2) Thinking lowly of urself will not get u anywhere. 3) When u are willing to learn, people are willing to teach. Effort only fully releases its rewards after a person refuses to quit.
